Refugee Republic Publication
Publication for the project Refugee Republic by professor, artist, and initiator of the project in 1990 Ingo Günther.
In his class, Günther’s students created various projects all in the theme of establishing a transglobal, experimental, supra-territorial state as a means for refugees to represent themselves worldwide. These projects were all documented using and abusing the design of legal identification documents, such as passports.
Designs and concepts for the exhibition showcasing all works were created, where maps became flyers, and the exhibition itself an embassy.
